The scary Krockers are easily the toughest species to converse with. The Tambas have a hard time getting anything out of them... Except for a certain Krocker shaman who values knowledge as much as they do.
However, the high shaman will only talk to true warriors... so Nort advised to go through the Krockers's initiation process before moving on. It is to be completed in a scary cave near the Tall Ridge.
